1 Seriously Injured in Concord Car Crash on Highway 242 near Concord Avenue
Contra Costa, California (January 25, 2023) – Authorities are investigating a major injury car crash that occurred on Wednesday morning in Concord.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch, the accident happened on the southbound side of Highway 242 near Concord Avenue at around 8:18 a.m.
Two vehicles, possibly a Chevrolet pickup truck and a red Volkswagen, were involved in the collision.
At least one person was seriously injured in the accident and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
