At Least 1 Severely Hurt in Grass Valley Accident on Highway 20 near Pine Flat Way
Grass Valley, California (May 28, 2023) – At least one person sustained serious injuries after a two-car crash Sunday evening in Grass Valley.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the wreck happened around 6:36 p.m. on westbound Highway 20 near Pine Flat Way.
A silver Saturn ION and another silver vehicle were involved in the collision. The cause of the crash was not immediately established.
Debris was scattered across all lanes after the crash.
One of the cars went approximately 30 feet off the roadway on the right-hand shoulder.
The CHP says at least one party sustained significant injuries.
An investigation is underway.
