Majid Lashkari Hurt in Ventura Crash on Highway 101
Ventura, California (June 5, 2023) – Majid Lashkari, 66, of Ventura, was injured in a crash on Monday evening in Ventura, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident took place on Highway 101 south of the Johnson Drive offramp at about 5:49 p.m.
A Dodge Charger and an Acura SUV were involved in the crash on the northbound side of the highway.
Following the crash, the Acura spun out of control and left the embankment, where it crashed into a light pole and a concrete wall.
Lashkari was the driver of the Acura and was rushed to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The operator of the charger, Oscar Ramirez, 21, of Camarillo, was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
