Los Angeles, CA – A motorcyclist was injured in a collision involving a bus Wednesday morning on southbound US 101 near Alameda Street, according to the CHP.
The crash was reported at about 6:52 a.m. on southbound US 101, just south of Alameda Street in the bus and express lanes.
The motorcycle rider was reported to have a possible head injury and was located inside the terminal area after the collision. Fire personnel responded and later transported the injured rider for medical treatment.
The crash partially blocked a lane in the bus and express-lane section. The Alameda Street on-ramp to the express lanes was also closed to allow responding units to reach the scene.
A tow truck was requested, and the involved vehicle was later cleared from the roadway. The incident remains under investigation.
