Los Angeles, CA – A motorcycle rider was injured after colliding with a vehicle on Interstate 10 in Los Angeles Sunday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The Los Angeles crash happened at approximately 4:50 p.m. Sunday on eastbound Interstate 10 at La Cienega Boulevard near Mid City.

According to the CHP incident log, the crash involved a white Hyundai Sonata and a motorcycle. The motorcycle rider was found lying in the No. 2 lane and was conscious and breathing.

The male motorcycle rider was transported to a hospital with a bloody face. The available information did not provide his age, identity, or specific condition beyond the report that he suffered major injuries. No other injuries were reported.
