South Los Angeles, CA – A multi-vehicle collision involving a motorcycle left at least one person with major injuries Monday night in the Westmont neighborhood of South Los Angeles.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the pileup occurred around 10:45 p.m. in the 1312 block of West 99th Street.
Four vehicles, including a motorcycle, were involved in the accident. The rider and the motorcycle ended up underneath one of the cars.
South Los Angeles Sheriff’s Station deputies and the Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to the scene.
At least one person suffered serious injuries in the crash, as per the report.
Authorities did not immediately determine the cause of the accident, but an investigation is ongoing.
