Los Angeles, CA – The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner identified the driver who died in a two-vehicle collision that happened Wednesday night at an intersection in Koreatown.
The victim was 31-year-old Allen Anderson.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the wreck was reported around 10:22 p.m., February 11, at North Vermont Avenue and West First Street.
Officers said Anderson was driving a blue sedan northbound on Vermont Avenue when the car collided with a dark-colored SUV traveling eastbound on First Street.
Anderson was pronounced dead at the scene.
Paramedics also transported a passenger from the sedan and another passenger from the SUV to the hospitals in stable condition.

Los Angeles, CA – A man died, and two others were hospitalized after a two-vehicle collision that happened Wednesday night at an intersection in Koreatown, the Los Angeles Police Department reported.
The incident occurred around 10:21 p.m., February 11, on Vermont Avenue and 1st Street.
According to LAPD, a car was traveling northbound on Vermont Avenue when it collided with another vehicle heading eastbound on 1st Street. One of the cars overturned after the first impact.
A 31-year-old man in the second car was ejected and killed at the scene. The Los Angeles Fire Department said the victim was pronounced dead in the 3500 block of West 1st Street following what was classified as an expanded traffic crash.
LAFD paramedics transported to other people – a 23-year-old driver and a 21-year-old passenger – to the hospital in stable condition.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the collision.
