Los Angeles, CA – Two police officers and a paramedic were among four people injured when an ambulance got involved in a collision with another vehicle in the Westchester neighborhood of Los Angeles on Wednesday night.

According to a Los Angeles Fire DepartmentLos Angeles Fire Department report, the crash took place at the intersection of Manchester Avenue and Sepulveda Westway at about 9 p.m. on February 18.

Authorities reported that an LAFD ambulance was carrying a patient to a hospital and two Los Angeles Police Department officers were aboard the ambulance escorting the patient. The ambulance crashed at the intersection with a vehicle driven by a 23-year-old woman.

Emergency crews attended to one patient at the scene before they were transported. The two officers, the patient who was being transported, and a paramedic, were all hospitalized with minor injuries.

The woman driving the second involved vehicle was also transported with minor injuries. The identities of the individuals involved in the collision were not immediately released.

The crash left the ambulance with major front-end damage while the second vehicle had damage to its driver’s side.
