The deadly collision was reported at about 2:33 p.m. on Sunday, May 10, on Tesla Road near Corral Hollow Road
Livermore, CA – One person was killed in a two-vehicle crash on Tesla Road in the Livermore area Sunday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The fatal collision occurred on Tesla Road near mile marker 7.4 at approximately 2:33 p.m.
Reports indicated that the incident involved a gray sedan and another unidentified sedan. Responding crews located one person inside a vehicle on the driver’s side following the collision.
Firefighters also responded to the scene and confirmed that at least one person died in the collision. The coroner was requested to respond. Information regarding additional injuries was not immediately available. No arrests were reported.
The circumstances leading up to the crash were not immediately determined.
Emergency responders and CHP officers arrived at the scene and attempted to assess the extent of injuries. Authorities also arranged for evidence towing and a wrecker to remove the damaged vehicles.
The collision caused traffic disruptions along Tesla Road as investigators worked at the scene and cleared the roadway.
The California Highway Patrol continues to investigate the fatal crash.
