Yucca Valley, CA.- A bicyclist was killed in a crash that occurred in Yucca Valley on Thursday afternoon.
According to a report by the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department, the collision occurred on Pueblo Trail and Joshua Lane at around 12:50 p.m. September 4.
64-year-old Leon Dowd was reportedly riding a bicycle westbound when he was involved in a crash with a vehicle.
Dowd was transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced deceased nearly one hour later.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
