Los Angeles, CA.- The woman who was hit and killed by a vehicle in downtown Los Angeles early Saturday morning has been identified as Kathryn Gerdes, 30, according to the Los Angeles County Office of Medical Examiner.
The accident was reported at around 4:33 a.m. October 18, on the eastbound Santa Monica (10) Freeway transition to northbound Harbor (110) Freeway.
According to CHP, Gerdes was walking across the traffic lanes when she was hit by a white Lexus RX 350.
She was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
The accident is under investigation.
