Kathleen Swanston Killed in Vehicle Collision on Irvington Road at Calle Santa Cruz in Tucson

Tucson, Ariz. – 78-year-old Kathleen Dianne Swanston dies two weeks after car crash on Irvington Road in Tucson.

According to the collision happened on 11 march on on Irvington Road at Calle Santa Cruz.

Reportedly, Swanston was traveling eastbound in a Buick SUV on West Irvington Road and tried to turn left onto Calle Santa Cruz when she was struck by a Chevrolet SUV heading the opposite direction.

Swanston sustained life-threatening injuries and was taken to Banner University Medical Center South for treatment, where she died on March 27.

The SUV’s driver 77-year-old was also hospitalized with severe injuries.

More information about the wreck was not provided.

An investigation is underway.
