Rancho Cucamonga, CA– At least one person died in a multi-vehicle crash involving a semi-tractor trailer in Rancho Cucamonga Tuesday night, police said.
The deadly collision took place at around 10:12 p.m. on September 2, on Interstate 15 near Foothill Boulevard.
According to authorities, responding emergency personnel found a silver sedan partially lodged underneath the rear of a semi-trailer.
Two other vehicles were also involved in the crash.
The manner of the accident was not yet clear.
The report said that one person, identified as Karina L. Abarca, 28, of Garden Grove, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Traffic was impacted for several hours as police carried out on-scene investigations.
No other information was available.
The police are investigating the accident.
