Bystanders and medical personnel performed CPR on the rider, but the man succumbed to his injuries at the scene
Redding, CA. – Justin Ryan Schindler, 38, of Millville, has been identified by the Shasta County Coroner's Office as the motorcyclist who died in a collision on Wednesday morning in Redding.
According to the Redding Police Department, the fatal motorcycle accident happened around 6:55 a.m. on Churn Creek Road just north of Presidio Street.
The man was riding a motorcycle when he drifted into the opposite lanes and collided head-on with a box truck.
Bystanders and medical personnel performed CPR on the rider, but the man succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
Information about the condition of the truck driver was not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing
