Fresno CA. – 41-year-old Juan Rodriguez of Parlie has been identified as the man who was killed in a collision involving a semi-truck on Wednesday morning in Fresno.
The fatal crash happened around 6 a.m. at American and Del Rey avenues, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A man driving a semi-truck was turning into a business when the truck was rear-ended by a Dodge Challenger operated by Rodriguez.
The Challenger came to a rest in the nearby field, and the big rig ended up in the opposing lane.
Rodriguez was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Fresno County Coroner's Office.
