Josue Alcala Killed in Chula Cradh at East Orange Avenue and Max Avenue, CA.- A motorcyclist was killed in a collision that took place in Chula Vista last week on Wednesday, according to the authorities.

The incident happened on East Orange Avenue and Max Avenue on April 16.

According to the authorities, a blue 2006 Kawasaki ZX-6R was traveling eastbound on East Orange Avenue when the rider crashed into the passenger side of a black 2023 Audi Q3 turning from westbound East Orange Avenue onto Max Avenue.

The motorcyclist was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The County Medical Examiner's Office identified the rider as Josue Calderon Alcala, 47, of Chula Vista.

The Audi was driven by a 34-year-old Chula Vista woman.

The woman and her passenger, a 1-year-old, were treated for minor injuries.

An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
