Reports indicated that the driver of a vehicle was speeding and attempted to make a right turn from the highway when it collided with a southbound bicycle in the northbound lanes
Oxnard, CA. – 35-year-old Joey Paquet of North Hollywood was identified as a cyclist killed in a crash Sunday night in Oxnard.
According to the Oxnard Police Department, the incident happened on April 21 on State Route 101 at Oxnard Boulevard.
Reports indicated that the driver of a vehicle was speeding and attempted to make a right turn from the highway when it collided with a southbound bicycle in the northbound lanes.
Paquet was pronounced dead at the crash site.
The driver involved remained at the scene and cooperated with the officers.
