Jesse Moore Killed in San Luis Obispo Accident on Highway 46
San luis Obispo 31, 2023) – Jesse Moore, 31, of Gilroy, was killed in a collision on Thursday San Luis Obispo.
The wreck happened on Highway 46 at Cholame “Y” at around 7:14 p.m. May 30.
CHP said Kayleigh Pearson, 37, of Hanford, was driving east on Highway 46 in a Ford Explorer when she turned infront of an oncoming Toyota Rav4 and the two vehicles collided.
Moore was the driver of the Toyota and was airlifted to Twin Cities Community Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
Pearson and a passenger in the Ford, Emma Pearson, 41, of Hanford, were treated for minor injuries.
CHP said alcohol and drugs were not suspected to have played a role in the incident.
The crash is under investigation.
