San Diego, CA. – 86-year-old Jerry Richards had been identified as the elderly man who died in an e-bike accident in Carlsbad.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 7:49 a.m. at Carlsbad Village Drive and Glasgow Drive.
The Oceanside man was riding an e-bike when he was struck by an SUV.
Richards was taken to Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla, where he later died.
