San Jacinto, CA – The Riverside County Coroner's Office has identified a motorist killed in a Monday afternoon crash on State Street in San Jacinto as Javier Lopez Montes, 48, of Hemet.
According to the Riverside County Sheriff's Office, the wreck occurred at around 4:24 p.m. at the intersection of State Street and Quandt Ranch Road.
The police said two vehicles were located at the crash site. However, the manner in which the incident occurred was not indicated in the report.
Montes was found in his car unresponsive and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the other vehicle was transported to a local hospital with an unknown degree of injuries.
