Javier Calderon Dies, Male Co-Worker Killed in Pacoima Construction Accident on Glenoaks Boulevard
Pacoima, California (June 9, 2023) – According to a local news source, Javier Calderon was killed while another man was injured following a construction accident on Wednesday morning in Pacoima, Los Angeles.
The accident happened on June 7 on Glenoaks Boulevard.
Per the report, a cinder-block wall at a construction site fell on Calderon.
Responding firefighters extricated him, but he was declared dead at the accident location.
Caldero’s co-worker, a man, sustained injuries of an unknown degree.
An investigation by the California Division of Occupational Safety and Health is ongoing.
