Jason Paul Mifsud Killed in Tucson Motorcycle Crash on East Valencia Road and South Columbus Boulevard

Tucson, AZ – Jason Paul Mifsud, 43, died days after being involved in a motorcycle collision in Tucson, according to the Tucson Police Department.

The accident took place just before 3 p.m. October 23, on East Valencia Road and South Columbus Boulevard.

Police said Mifsud was riding a 2007 Kawasaki motorcycle westbound on Valencia Road when he collided with an eastbound 2002 Subaru Legacy that was attempting to make a left turn onto northbound Columbus Boulevard.

The Subaru then collided with another vehicle that was stopped at the light.

Mifsud sustained critical injuries and was taken to Banner University Medical Center.

On October 27, the Pima County Office of the Medical Examiner confirmed that Mifsud had succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.

The driver of the Subaru, a 23-year-old man, remained at the scene and was not suspected to have been impaired.

Police reported that Mifsud was not wearing a helmet and was riding without a license. He was also found to be in possession of illegal drugs.

An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
