According to the CHP, a black 2010 Audi A4 and a four-door Kia Niro collided head-on, and the impact caused one of them to roll over

San Bernardino County, CA – The authorities have identified one of the two people who died in a head-on collision at an intersection near Kramer Junction on Friday afternoon.
The victim was identified as Jannalise Santoyo Lara, a 19-year-old Madera woman. The name of the 21-year-old Ridgecrest man, who also died in the crash, has not been released.
The deadly crash happened at about 3:15 p.m. on August 30, on Highway 395 and Alcudia Road
Investigators said Jannalise Lara was driving a 2008 Toyota Camry southbound on Highway 395 when, for some reason, she drove into the northbound lanes and struck a 2010 Audi head-on.
The Audi was then rear-ended by a 2019 Kia that was trailing behind it.
Lara and the Ridgecrest man died at the scene.
The Kia driver, a 60-year-old man from Tehachapi, was flown to the hospital with major injuries.

Kramer Junction, CA – Two people were killed in a traffic collision in Kramer Junction on Friday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident was reported at around 3:15 p.m. on August 30, on Highway 395 and Alcudia Road.
According to the CHP, a black 2010 Audi A4 and a four-door Kia Niro collided head-on, and the impact caused one of them to roll over.
Two people were pronounced deceased at the scene.
One other party was flown to Antelope Valley Hospital with major injuries.
The identities of the deceased victims were not released pending notification of the next-of-kin.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
