According to California Highway Patrol, a car traveling eastbound on SR 54 crashed into a sign and went down an embankment

Chula Vista, CA.- Jalen Sealee, 21, of Chula Vista, has been identified as the woman who was killed in a crash with an alleged DUI driver in Chula Vista early Wednesday morning, according to the San Diego County Medical Examiner's Office.
The incident took place on SR 54 near Highland Avenue shortly before 1 a.m. September 10.
According to California Highway Patrol, a car traveling eastbound on SR 54 crashed into a sign and went down an embankment.
Sealee was a passenger in the car and was pronounced deceased nearly one hour later at UCSD Medical Center in Hillcrest.
The driver, a 20-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
The California Highway Patrol is handling the investigation.
