Ismael Carrillo-Garcia Killed in Oakdale Accident on Yosemite Avenue
Oakdale, California (June 15, 2023) – A man was killed in an industrial accident on Wednesday morning at ConAgra Foods plant in Oakdale, according to the authorities.
The incident took place along Yosemite Avenue shortly after 1 a.m. June 14.
Authorities said Ismael Carrillo-Garcia, 27, of Keyes, was in the trailer of a big rig pushing the pallets toward the back to be loaded onto a forklift when the big rig started rolling forward.
Carrillo-Garcia tried to run to the cab to stop the rig but he tripped and fell.
He was run over by the big rig and died in the accident.
Authorities are investigating the incident.
