Isleton, CA – At least one person was injured in a two-vehicle crash on State Route 160 in Isleton late Saturday night, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident took place at about 10:16 p.m. on April 11 on northbound Highway 160, just south of Victory Highway.
The vehicles involved in the crash were described as a silver sedan and a white sedan. One of the cars was found about 10 feet off the roadway in a ditch. Near-misses with other vehicles traveling through the area following the crash were reported.
At least one person was hurt and was reportedly airlifted to John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek for further treatment. The total number of injured parties was not immediately confirmed, and no arrests were reported.
Emergency responders, including fire crews and sheriff’s deputies, arrived at the scene. Authorities temporarily shut down lanes on SR-160 to allow a medical helicopter to land and transport the injured patient.
The crash caused significant traffic disruptions, with lanes blocked for several hours before reopening around 1:25 a.m.
The incident remains under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
