Santa Clara, CA.– A 16-year-old boy was killed in a tragic accident in Santa Clara County on Saturday night, according to the Santa Clara Police Department.
The crash was reported at around 11:40 p.m. September 20, on Lawrence Expressway at Benton Street.
According to the report, Isaiah Mendoza was driving northbound on Lawrence Expressway when he lost control and slammed into a pole.
Mendoza was killed in the crash.
No other injuries were reported in the incident.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
