Huntington Park, CA – A pedestrian was fatally hit by a vehicle at a Huntington Park intersection on Tuesday night.
According to the California Higwhay Patrol, the deadly incident took place at Florence Avenue and Pacific Boulevard at around 9:43 p.m. on July 13.
The CHP report indicates that a vehicle struck a pedestrian who was attempting to walk across the intersection. The events leading up to the accident were not immediately available.
Responding emergency personell pronounced the pedestrian deceased at the scene. The victim’s identity was not immediately released.
According to the CHP, the vehicle believed to have been involved in the crash was located. The vehicle reportedly had a broken headlight and it’s unclear whether the involved motorist was arrested.
