According to Hesperia Police's preliminary investigation, a vehicle was traveling eastbound on Main Street just east of Maple Avenue when, for some reason, a woman ran northbound across the roadway and was struck by the vehicle.
The woman was transported to a nearby hospital in critical condition. Authorities did not report any arrests related to the incident.
