Fountain Valley, CA. – 23-year-old Henry Garcia Correa of Santa Ana died, and a passenger was critically hurt in a solo-car crash that happened late Friday night in Fountain Valley.
According to authorities, the incident occurred just before 11 p.m. near Brookhurst Street and Edinger Avenue.
The Fountain Valley Police Department responded to the scene and found a car that had reportedly crashed into a tree in the center divider of the street.
Correa was driving the vehicle and died in the crash.
His 20-year-old male passenger was hospitalized in critical condition.
A preliminary investigation indicated that drugs may have played a role in the crash.
An investigation is ongoing.
