Hassan Ali and another man were seriously injured and later succumbed to their injuries at St. Joseph Medical Center
Tacoma, Wash. – Authorities have identified one of the two drivers killed in a head-on traffic collision on I-705 in Tacoma last month as Hassan H. Ali, 27, of Seattle.
Ali was driving his vehicle northbound on I-705 when he collided with a wrong-way driver just south of State Route 509.
Ali and the wrong-way driver were rushed to St. Joseph Medical Center where they later died.

Tacoma, Wash. – Authorities are investigating a wrong-way traffic collision that claimed the lives of two men in Tacoma last month, according to Washington State Patrol.
The deadly crash happened at about 3:50 a.m. Sunday, October 29 on Interstate 705 near State Route 509.
Reportedly, the crash was caused by a wrong-way driver who was traveling southbound in the northbound lanes of I-705, just south of Highway 509. The wrong-way driver collided head-on with an oncoming vehicle.
Both drivers were seriously injured and were taken to St. Joseph Medical Center where they later died.
According to the Washington State Patrol, drugs or alcohol may have played a role in the crash.
The incident remains under investigation.
