The Manteca man was driving a 2018 Freightliner westbound when he lost control and crashed into a guardrail
Bakersfield, CA. – Gurpartap Singh Kharoud, 21, was killed in a semi-truck accident on Saturday afternoon in Keene.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on Highway 58 just east of Keene around 1:25 p.m.
The Manteca man was driving a 2018 Freightliner westbound when he lost control and crashed into a guardrail. The truck overturned after the crash.
Kharoud was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said impaired driving is not suspected as a factor in this crash.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
