Grover Beach, CA – A motorcycle officer was hospitalized after being involved in a crash with a civilian vehicle in Grover Beach on Monday afternoon.

According to the authorities, the incident took place in the area of 4th Street and West Grand Avenue just after 1 p.m. April 6.

A Grover Beach Police Department officer was riding on a motorcycle when they got into a crash with a car at the intersection. There was no update on what led up to the accident.

The officer was transported to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries. No other injuries were reported by other involved parties.
