Investigations revealed that David L. Wright, 27, of Prosser, was driving a 2003 Honda Accord southbound on SR 109 when he drifted across the center line and collided head-on with an oncoming 2025 Chevrolet Trax that was being driven by Jonathan D. Parker, 40, of Long Beach.

Grays Harbor County, WA – A woman from Raymond was flown to a hospital after being involved in a crash that took place in Grays Harbor County on Thursday afternoon.
According to a report by the Washington State Patrol, the collision occurred at around 4:13 p.m. July 16, on State Route 109.
Investigations revealed that David L. Wright, 27, of Prosser, was driving a 2003 Honda Accord southbound on SR 109 when he drifted across the center line and collided head-on with an oncoming 2025 Chevrolet Trax that was being driven by Jonathan D. Parker, 40, of Long Beach.
The Accord came to a rest in the northbound lane of SR 109 while the Chevrolet landed in the northbound ditch.
Parker, Wright, and a passenger in the Honda, Kariysa G. Castillo, 23, of Kennewick, were all transported by ambulance to Grays Harbor Regional Health in Aberdeen for treatment of their injuries.
A passenger in the Chevrolet, identified as Angilee M. Cogdill, 50, of Raymond, was airlifted to St. Joseph Medical Center in Tacoma with serious injuries.
According to the WSP, Cogdill was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the collision. All other involved parties were wearing their seatbelts.
Investigations revealed that impairment was unlikely a factor in the crash but speed is suspected to have played a role.
The circumstances of the collision remained under investigation by the Washington State Patrol.
