Woodcrest, CA – The Riverside County Sheriff’s Office has released the name of a woman who was killed in a bicycle collision at an intersection in Woodcrest on Saturday morning.
The Sheriff’s Office identified the deceased woman as Gina Thomas, a 61-year-old Riverside resident.
Thomas was hit by a vehicle at about 9:37 a.m. on January 24 at Krameria Avenue and Reiner Circle. She was rushed to Riverside Community Hospital, where he died at about 10:26 a.m. the same day.

Woodcrest, CA – A woman was struck and killed by a vehicle while riding a bicycle in the Woodcrest area of Riverside on Saturday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, authorities received reports of the accident at about 9:30 a.m. January 24, near Krameria Avenue and Reiner Circle.
Authorities reported that the woman was riding her bike in the residential neighborhood when a vehicle struck her. At the time of the report, it was unclear how and why the victim was hit.
The CHP officers, as well as fire and medical crews, were called to the scene of the crash.
The woman was rushed to a hospital, where she was pronounced deceased shortly after. The woman’s name and age were not specified in the report.
Details on the driver and whether alcohol or drugs played a role were not available. The California Highway Patrol is looking into the incident to determine the contributing factors.
