Breniz, a resident of San Jose, was transported to the hospital where he died later that afternoon
San Jose, CA. – Gilberto Salas Breniz, 38, has been identified by the Santa Clara County Medical Examiner as the bicyclist who died after being hit by a car on Sunday morning in San Jose.
The fatal bicycle accident happened in the area of South Jackson Avenue and Cinderella Lane at around 9:15 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
The man was riding a bicycle when he was hit by a pickup truck.
Breniz, a resident of San Jose, was transported to the hospital where he died later that afternoon.
The pickup truck driver stayed at the accident scene and cooperated with the police.
