Jamul, CA – A man was killed last Wednesday in a head-on collision in Jamul, San Diego, according to the authorities.
The fatal collision happened around 5:17 p.m. on September 17 on Otay Lakes Road West of SR-94.
Authorities said Gilbert Araiza, 42, of San Ysidro, was driving a van when he was involved in a head-on collision with an SUV.
Araiza was taken to Sharp Grossmont Hospital, where he later died.
No further details were available.
The CHP is investigating the accident.
