The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene by Los Angeles County Fire Department paramedics
Los Angeles, CA. – 38-year-old Gilbert Amaro was killed in a pedestrian accident that occurred on Monday night in Lancaster.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at the intersection of Avenue J and Hanstead Avenue at around 11:40 p.m.
The man was walking northbound across Avenue J when he was struck by a westbound sedan. A Toyota Camry also struck the pedestrian.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene by Los Angeles County Fire Department paramedics.
The driver of the Toyota Camry remained at the scene.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
