Garcia was ejected from the Chevy and was hit by another vehicle
Fontana, CA. – George Garcia, 45, was killed in a car crash early Sunday morning in Fontana.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on the westbound Interstate 10 Freeway at Sierra Avenue at around 4:56 a.m.
Garcia was driving a Chevy Trailblazer when he was involved in a collision with a Toyota Scion.
Garcia was ejected from the Chevy and was hit by another vehicle. Two other vehicles were involved in the collision.
Garcia, a resident of Pomona, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Toyota was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
More details on the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
