According to preliminary investigations, a Range Rover was traveling westbound on Belmont Street when a sedan pulled into its path and the Range Rover crashed into the side of the sedan
Fresno, CA – One person was seriously injured in a collision between two vehicles at a Fresno intersection on Friday morning, the Fresno Police Department reported.
At around 11:40 a.m. July 17, authorities responded to reports of a collision near Belmont Avenue and Fulton Street.
According to preliminary investigations, a Range Rover was traveling westbound on Belmont Street when a sedan pulled into its path and the Range Rover crashed into the side of the sedan.
The impact of the crash sent the sedan off the roadway and it slammed into two parked vehicles that were not occupied.
Police reported that the driver of the sedan was unconscious at the scene. The driver was rushed to a hospital and was said to be in critical condition.
The operator of the Range Rover was uninjured in the accident and stayed at the scene after the crash.
No additional details were released and authorities are still working to establish its cause.
