60-year-old Fred Hernandez was walking in the area when he was hit by a vehicle operated by a Banning resident.
Cabazon, CA. – The Riverside County Coroner's Office has identified a pedestrian who died after being struck by a car early Thursday morning in Cabazon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 5:40 a.m. in the area of Malki Road and Morongo Road.
60-year-old Fred Hernandez was walking in the area when he was hit by a vehicle operated by a Banning resident.
Hernandez, a resident of Banning, was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
