Sacramento, CA – Five people have been hospitalized following a traffic crash that caused one of the vehicles to overturn in Sacramento Wednesday afternoon.
The multi-injury collision happened at about 3:15 p.m. on Cottage Way, just south of Landon Lane.
According to the CHP, a red Ford Explorer, a white Audi sedan, and a possible third vehicle were involved in the crash.
The Ford Explorer overturned following the collision. A woman and an infant were in the overturned vehicle.
CHP said five patients were transported to Kaiser Permanente with unspecified injuries. The driver of the overturned vehicle reportedly suffered significant injuries.
Three two trucks were requested to the scene.
No additional information is available at this time.
The crash is under investigation.
