According to the deputies, Fidelmar Duran Perez, 30, of Victorville, was riding a black Yamaha YZF-R1 motorcycle westbound on Bear Valley Road when he broadsided an eastbound brown Buick Lacrosse
Victorville, CA.- A motorcyclist died in a collision with another vehicle on Monday evening in Victorville, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.
The collision took place on Bear Valley Road and Mesa View Drive at around 5:16 p.m. September 29.
According to the deputies, Fidelmar Duran Perez, 30, of Victorville, was riding a black Yamaha YZF-R1 motorcycle westbound on Bear Valley Road when he broadsided an eastbound brown Buick Lacrosse.
The Buick was trying to make a northbound turn onto Mesa View Drive when the crash happened.
Deputies reported that Duran Perez was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Buick, Charles Gilmore, 76, of Victorville, remained at the scene after the accident.
The intersection was shut down for nearly four hours following the accident.
The investigation is ongoing.
