Female Hurt After Castro Valley Accident on Highway 84 near Palomares Road
Castro Valley, California (July 25, 2022) – Firefighters extricated a female party pinned in a car following a traffic collision Sunday afternoon in Castro Valley.
According to a dispatch by the California Highway Patrol, the accident occurred at around 3:13 p.m. July 24, on eastbound Highway 84, just east of Palomares Road.
Police confirmed two vehicles collided for unknown reasons.
Responding fire officials extricated a female party who was pinned in one of the vehicles. The female party suffered minor injuries following the accident.
Authorities issued a SigAlert closing all the lanes. A SigAlert was canceled, and the roadway opened at 5:37 p.m.
The vehicles were towed away from the crash site.
No additional information regarding this crash was provided.
