Two Killed in Glendale Accident near 47th and Northern Avenues

Glendale, Arizona (September 26, 2023) – Two people were killed in a collision in Glendale on Tuesday morning, according to the police.
The incident took place in the area of 47th and Northern avenues shortly after 4 a.m.
Authorities said two vehicles collided head-on near the Apollo High School.
One of the vehicles came to a rest on the property of the school.Â
A man and a woman in one of the vehicles were rushed to a hospital, where they were pronounced deceased.
Two sole occupant of the second vehicle was hospitalized with minor injuries.
Authorities shut down Northern Avenue between 43rd and 51st Avenues.Â
The cause of the collision is under investigation.
