Fresno County, CA – A man was hospitalized in critical condition after he was hit by a vehicle at an intersection in Farmersville Friday evening, according to authorities.
The auto-pedestrian crash happened just before 7 p.m. on October 23 at Visalia Road and Magnolia Avenue.
Officers responded to the scene and found the man lying in the roadway.
Preliminary investigation revealed that a Chevrolet Silverado was traveling east on Visalia Road when it struck the man as he attempted to cross the street to catch up with his daughter, who had already crossed.
Emergency personnel provided medical assistance at the scene before transporting the victim to Kaweah Health Medical Center. The patient was listed in critical condition.
The driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation. The collision remains under investigation.
