A preliminary investigation determined that a motorcycle rider crashed with a truck near the Albertsons grocery store
Fallbrook, CA – Authorities responded to a collision involving a motorcycle rider that left one person injured on Thursday morning in Fallbrook.
According to California Highway Patrol logs, the incident happened just before 7:55 a.m. January 29, in the 1100 block of South Mission Road.
A preliminary investigation determined that a motorcycle rider crashed with a truck near the Albertsons grocery store. At the time of the report, it was not yet established what caused the vehicles to collide.
The CHP officers along with fire and medical crews arrived shortly after and found the motorcycle down in the roadway. At least one person was injured in the accident but their injuries were not specified.
The identity of the injured patient was not immediately released and it’s unclear whether they needed to be transported to a hospital for treatment.
Roads were partially blocked while emergency responders worked at the scene and drivers were urged to exercise caution while passing through the area.
The California Highway Patrol is handling the investigation to find out exactly what led up to the accident.
