San Diego, CA – 99-year-old Eleanor Mary Mitrovich has been identified as the woman who died after she was hit by a vehicle on Tuesday morning near the College East neighborhood of San Diego.
The fatal accident occurred around 8 a.m. July 21, on Cleo Street, according to the San Diego Police Department.
The woman was walking eastbound on Cleo Street when she was hit by a westbound 2022 Chevrolet Equinox driven by a 49-year-old woman.
The woman sustained multiple fractures to both arms and her lower leg. Paramedics took the woman to the hospital, where she later died.
