Phoenix, AZ – An elderly man was hit and killed by a car in north Phoenix on Thursday evening, according to a police report.
The accident occurred around 7:30 p.m. on October 30, 2025, at the intersection of 32nd Street and Campo Bello Drive, north of Bell Road.
Police said the man, identified as Edward Pickles, 84, may have been crossing the street, outside of a crosswalk, when he was hit by a vehicle. Pickles was taken to the hospital where he later died.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene.
The incident remains under investigation.
