Clovis, CA.- A teenage e-bike rider was struck and injured by a vehicle in Clovis on Wednesday afternoon, according to the Clovis Police Department.

The incident took place on Athens and Perry avenues shortly after 1 p.m. August 12.

According to the police, a boy was riding the bike pulling a cart with a pressure washer when he was hit by a truck.

The boy was rushed to CRMC with critical injuries but was said to be in stable condition.

The truck driver stayed at the scene after the accident.

Police reported that alcohol and drugs were not suspected in the incident.

The cause of the collision is under investigation.
